The NBPA and NBA have joined forces to offer players comprehensive
services in the areas of education and career development.
The program is designed to provide skills and tools necessary
to promote players’ personal, intellectual and professional
development on and off the court.
During the various stages of a player’s basketball career,
the Career Development Program will design
a complimentary personal development plan so that a player
is prepared for life after basketball. The overall goal of
the Program is to make sure that our players are prepared
to continue their superstardom in all areas of their lives.
Programs include:
Continuing Education – Academic Advising
/ Transcript Evaluation / Matriculation / Graduate School
/ Entrance Exam Preparation / Tutoring Services
Career Development – Skills Training
/ Assessment Testing / Interview Techniques / Internships
/ Networking Opportunities
