Engaging in whatever educational, legislative, political, civic, social welfare, community or other activities which will advance and safeguard the economic security and general social welfare of WNBPA players both during ad after their playing careers, and
Entering into cooperative efforts, such as those with other labor unions, women’s groups and charitable entities the WNBPA deems to be in the best interests of its members.

In addition, the WNBP offers a myriad of services and support mechanisms to its members. These services include agent certification, legal representation and arbitration services, player programs, contract negotiation assistance and liaison with management.

The WNBPA works alone, as well as in conjunction with management to offer programs designed to advance the employment, social and post-playing lives of WNBPA members. Such programs include graduate school tuition reimbursement, off-season internships, financial planning, emotional and mental health support, substance abuse education and career management.
